Installation
1. When planning the position of pulper, spare enough space for maintenance, make rotor device hung out easily, the chain conveyor should be located at straight flange side of the D-tank body, delivery pump should be close to the pulper to shorten the outlet pipe
2. As per the foundation drawing, determine the center line and revise each corresponding position dimension, pour equipment foundation with reinforced concrete.
3. Unpacking and acceptance check, check if all parts are complete, clean the anti-corrosive grease.
4. The foundation goes through a certain period of maintenance (general 15 days), correcting until no error, install the equipment. Installation procedure is as follows:
(1) Hang the bracket to the foundation in advance, place the anchor bolts onto baseboard one by one.
(2) Hang tank body to installation position on the bracket, fasten the tank body bottom and bracket together with bolts, then open a rectangle hole as required by process and weld slag discharging opening.
(3) Hoist the rotor device integrally to the bottom plate in tank body, adjust the outlet to correct position and then fasten, dismantle the hoisting ring.
(4) Adjust the vertical centre line of tank body to plumb-bob line with leveling screw on the bracket, and adjust big belt wheel to level
(5) Casting foundation hole with re-enforced concrete
(6) Weld transversely connecting support rod on-site, install tension device and adjust to moderate tension
(7) Install motor foot rail, motor and protective cover, adjust two belt wheels to same level
(8) Install sedimentation well or deslagging tank
(9) After a certain period of maintenance (general 15 days), revise the centre vertical deviation of the equipment, no more than 0.15mm/m, then screw the anchor bolts, casting re-enforced concrete again to cover the base plate.

Operation Instruction
1. Commissioning
(1) Before commissioning, remove contaminants in the equipment, add oil to all oiling points, check whether exist loose connecting bolts, whether all protective cover installed well, whether there is obstacle around transmission device, whether tightness of v-belt is suitable, whether the direction of rotation is right (overlook the rotor, it should rotates counterclockwise), and then start no-load running. The time for first starting should be short, keep hand touching keyboard so as to stop immediately in case of any exceptional situation.
(2) When starting up, sealing water is allowed to leak through packings freely; leaking more sealing water in the first hour of starting can extend the life of fillers, tighten the gland gradually until the leakage reach to minimum allowable, completely no leakage is not right. In case of excessive leakage volume after tightening gland, must re-install packings
(3) Starting up and running one hour, check whether the bearing overheated, whether equipment runs stably, whether sounds normal. If all are normal, commissioning with water and check whether gate valves and flange connections leak.
2. Production operating
(1) In formal production, inject 1/3-1/2 volume of pure water to tank body in advance, start the motor, open the valve of cleaning water under the rotor, and then start chain conveyor, feed raw materials evenly, keep adjusting the feeding quantity of the raw materials and water, make the stock reach to desired consistency and control the distance from highest liquid level to the edge of pulp tank (distance specified in outside drawing), avoid feeding excessively or unevenly in feeding process.
(2) During operation, frequently check the bearing temperature, whether the bolt is loosening, whether the flange and valve leak water or stock, whether the packings or the bearing is overheated, whether the electric current is too high, etc.; any problem found should be handled immediately.
(3) Pre-treatment of hard contaminants in waste paper is needed to avoid damaging the equipment. Regularly salve and remove impurities that are not easily broken according to raw materials; after shut down when changing shift, discharge residue stock and clear away all foreign matters in the sedimentation tank, keep the pipeline unblocked.
(4) When shut down, stop feeding at first and empty the residue stock in the machine, and then stop watering, clean the foreign matters in groove.
(5) When the pulper stops running for power outage or other special circumstances, close the power switch, open the washing water at the bottom of outlet plate to wash, discharge the stock in the tank, lower the pulp level as far as possible; it is not allowed to start equipment when the storing pulp exceeds 1/2 volume to avoid burning down the motor.
(6) Regularly remove heavy rejects in the sedimentation well to avoid clogging pipeline.

Maintenance
1. Regularly check the lubrication of the equipment running parts, add NO. 2 calcium sodium grease to each rolling bearing ever two weeks, clean and exchange once a year.
2. Regularly check the equipment, no loosing bolts, no exceeded rated current of motor; when temperature rise of the bearing exceed the ambient temperature 35 degree, shut down to check.
3. Avoid metal and other bulky hard impurities falling into the pulp chest.
4. Replacement of blade, bed knife: check the wearing situation of the rotor blade regularly; deflaking efficiency will decrease when the rotor blade and screen plate bed knife cutter point is worn. Thus, exchange wearing blade in time.
5. Exchange screen plate: when the screen holes are wearing and become bigger, exchange the screen plate; dismantle the top cap and rotor first, then dismantle fastening screw to exchange
6. Exchange copper bushing: dismantle top cap and rotor, then dismantle rotor base plate with tool (user owned), dismantle old copper bushing, install new one and make it matched with corresponding position.
7. Exchange bearing: hang the rotor device overall tightly by crane or lifting appliance, on upper side dismantle the rotor, rotor base plate and screen plate, on bottom side dismantle big belt wheel and bearing pedestal, exchange bearing and assemble in reverse order.
8. According to the using situation, overhaul one time about half a year is advisable.
