Installation and Commissioning
Check all parts as per packing list
Attention: choose suitable lifting equipment when installing and lifting various components of the equipment to prevent accidents
Steps for installation:
1. Installation of riding wheel pedestal
- Install the pedestal according to installation diagram and foundation dimension
- Adjusting the pedestal by sizing block and make two pedestals on same level, both forming a 1-degree angle with ground
- Grouting
2. Installation of riding wheel device
- After curing time of the riding wheel pedestal install the riding wheel
- Make riding wheel center superposed the equipment installation center line
- Make two groups of the riding wheel device in the same plane and tilt 1 degree with the horizontal line along the pulp flow direction.
- Adjust center distance of every group of riding wheel and distance between two groups of riding wheel
3. Installation of catch wheel device
- Install the catch wheel device at the outlet side
- Install inlet side catch wheel device after the drum is hoisted and installed
- The clearance between inlet side catch wheel device and riding wheel should be less than 2mm
4. Hoisting and installing drum
- Make the two big riding wheels on the outer wall of the drum supported on two groups of small riding wheels separately
- Measure the lowest point height difference of the front and back ends of the roller and check whether the incline degree 1 degree. If not, adjust the center distance of riding wheels
- Install big gear wheel
5. Installation of driving device
- Install the pedestal with small gear device according to the installation dimension diagram, adjust the distance between big gear and small gear.
- Install the pedestal with motor and speed reducer, make the reducer shaft coaxial with small gear
- Grouting two pedestals
6. Installation of feeding funnel
- Rotate drum two circles, weld rotating ring of drum, make the backing ring and rotating ring concentric
- Adjust the feeding funnel with sizing block, adjust the stationary ring by fastening screw, make the up and down and left and right distance between stationary ring and rotating ring is 8mm
- Proceed to grouting
7. Installation of sealing device
- Fix one end of the sealing rope on the feeding funnel in the upper part of the sealing ring, make the sealing rope sag bypassing the sealing ring
- Hang the heavy punch to the sealing rope sag end
- Install water receiving pan
8. Installation of protective cover
- Mount the protective cover of the screening area on the top of the pulp chest according to installation dimension diagram, adjust the distance between shower pipe and screening zone to be 48mm, install the sealing pulp baffle plat at the both ends of the screening area protective cover of the pulp chest
- Install gear protective cover, riding wheel protective cover and coupling protective cover
9. Installation of electronic control device and automatic control device
- Prepare the installation line of the electronic control cabinet and motor
- Automatic control device (including automatic batchmeter , pneumatic valve, consistency regulator, liquid level displayer, computer control system) should be installed by technician of Yunda company.

Operation Instruction
1. Preparation
1.1 Switch on power
1.2 Switch on pipeline of water and chemical
2. Commissioning
2.1 Start the motor, make the drum idle, make sure no abnormal vibration and sound and check stable electric current
2.2 Start the valves for warm water and chemicals, make sure supplying favorable
2.3 Start conveyor, normal running of motor
3. Operation
3.1 Start drum hydrapulper motor, make it run normally three minutes
3.2 Start conveyor motor, start to feed evenly
3.3 Add warm water and chemicals, control the pulping consistency at 14-18% and temperature over 50 centigrade
3.4 When the stock reach to the screening area, control warm water, make the stock consistency 3%-4%
3.5 Start propeller motor, feed to next procedure
Notice: the electric current of the drum motor should be controlled below 40-60A of the rated current, overload is not allowed
4. Shut down
4.1 Stop feeding, close conveyor motor
4.2 Close the water and chemicals valves at feeding end
4.3 when the electric current drops to idling current, close the dilution water valve
4.4 Close the motor of the drum hydrapulper
4.5 Close motors of the pulp pump and propeller

Maintenance
Care and maintenance of the equipment is very important to extend its service life
- Reducer adopts factory gear oil, replace every three months
- The lubrication period of riding wheel device, catch wheel device and small gear bearing is half month
- In each shift check whether lubrication of driving gear is favorable or not
- Small riding wheel and big riding wheel of adopt oil injection lubrication. Check up once a day
- Check whether exist loose bolts in each part
- Each time shut down, clean away iron nail, scrap iron and other impurities on the sealing rope to keep sealing favorable, if friction is serious causing leaking water, renew the sealing rope
- Check the water and chemical pipeline, ensure no blocking
- Storage: equipment should be stored in dry warehouse, rain-proof, moisture-proof, corrosion prevention
